DSS Invades Court To Re-arrests Sowore, Olawale Bakare

The operatives of Department of State Services (DSS) on Friday 6th December 2019 allegedly invaded the Federal High Court in Abuja to re-arrest Revolution Now Convener, Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare on fresh charges.

The DSS operatives reportedly stormed Court and in a commando-style, whisked away Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare even after their lawyer, Femi Falana had denied knowledge of such fresh charges.

Falana told them they could not arrest Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare within the premises of the court, but after some time, the operatives well armed whisked away Sowore and Olawale Bakare in Falana’s car which was driven by a DSS personnel and escorted by several other DSS trucks.

This latest barbaric display by the government officials and without respect to the rule of law, comes just a day after Mr Sowore was released by the DSS, after Ijeoma Ojukwu, the federal judge handling his treasonable felony trial, insisted that her November 6 order must be complied with and Mr Sowore must be released from custody or senior officials of the SSS would be held in criminal contempt.

Mr Sowore was eventually released on Thursday, after spending 124 days in the DSS detention, and only to be rearrested on Friday morning…clearly, nobody is safe again in Nigeria, as the political class are doing everything to silence the masses…#sowore #buhari
