Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano has expressed shock and deep sadness over the sudden death of his senior aide and legal practitioner, Barrister Mrs Ejikeme Ebele Mabel.
In a statement signed by Mr James Eze, his Chief Press Secretary, Gov Obiano mourned the passing of Barrister Mrs Ejikeme describing her as kind, compassionate and committed. He expressed deep condolences to the Ejikeme family and prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased legal practitioner.
“I have lost a dutiful and dedicated aide and Anambra state has lost a great and patriotic daughter. We mourn her passing but we will not forget her dedication and service to this administration and to the good people of Anambra state.
” We pray for strength and grace, for her family, colleagues and associates, to bear this painful loss and for the peaceful repose of her soul”.
Late Barrister Ejikeme was the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Affairs until her demise.
