The Minister of Transportation, Honourable Chibueki Rotimi Amaechi has called on Nigerians to rate the performance of his Ministry. He put up an opinion poll on his social media page and email address asking Nigerians for their views so far.
The Minister who said this while speaking in Abuja, thanked Nigerians for their support to him as a Minister and to the Ministry of transportation, while also praising President Muhammadu Buhari for giving him the opportunity to serve as a Minister of the Federal Republic.
The Ministry of Transportation overall has achieved a lot in the last years, as the Ministry under his watch, completed and commissioned the Abuja Light-rail which runs from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport to the Abuja City Centre, the launching of the name and Logo of the new National Carrier, named “Nigeria Air”, and some Port reforms amongst other things.
In order to hear from the public, the Minister asked for an opinion poll on how they can improve. The statement reads:
