Yekini Nabena has dared the Nigerian Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki to reconvene the National Assembly and see if he will not become a bencher in the Red Chamber where there is still argument as to which political party has the majority members between the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The APC Acting National Publicity Secretary Yekini Nabena in a statement he released some few hours ago, asked Senator Saraki to take the APC challenge and reconvene the National Assembly, and see if he won’t vacate the seat of the Senate President.
Mr. Yekini Nabena in the statement also challenged the Senate President to a debate after he might have reconvened the National Assembly. He said:
“And Integrity. I want you to relay this message to your principal. I Dare him to take the #apcchallengeh which is to reconvene the National Assembly.
When he does that,I would debate him in any TV station of his choice ,but by then we know he would have become a back bencher in the senate.
Then the debate would be between two upstart,he should reconvene the National Assembly then we will have our debate as two upstart ,I would never disgrace the office of the senate president in public

Senator Saraki and the National Assembly have been on recess for some time now and Nigerians are waiting to see how the different politics being played in terms of decamping in the National Assembly would play out when they finally reconvene.
Some political drama is also expected at the Green chamber when they finally reconvene, as the seat of the Speaker could be a target for the APC members who feel Speaker Yakubu Dogara is no longer one of them and might feel the need to replace him.
All eyes will be on the National Assembly when they reconvene as both parties continue their lobbying of members to achieve their respective objectives.
