The Vice President of Nigeria Professor Yemi Osinbajo who have been working tirelessly both within and out the country to promote and bring to the awareness of Nigerians the importance of technology and also the world’s number one social media search engine such as Google and other social media platforms as to how strategic Nigeria is, and how both parties can benefit from it if they engage in it positively, was at the headquarters of Google yesterday.
The Vice President who also met and interacted with Nigerians working at the Google head office spoke about the Nigerian population, how vibrant Nigerians are, and how Google can tap on the huge opportunities the Nigerian Entertainment industry offers, especially the Nollywood and music industries which are ranked number one in Africa.
The Vice President shared some of the photos of his visit on his social media page with this caption:
“Today, I was received by senior executives of Google led by its CEO, Sundar Pichai, at the firm’s Headquarters. I am in the USA, leading a Public-Private sector collaborative investment road show”.

“In addition, I have met with groups of key tech investors here in Silicon Valley and will be speaking tonight at an interactive session at the LinkedIn headquarters.”

“At the Fireside chat with Allen Blue, Co-Founder of LinkedIn, I described the role the role of the recently inaugurated Technology and Creativity Advisory Group to drive policy in tech innovation and entertainment”.

“By 2050, Nigeria will have 3rd largest population in the world. We understand that we have to explore ways of delivering education outside of conventional classrooms”.
On his part while welcoming the Vice President of Nigeria, the Google Chief had this:
