Senator Shehu Sani is saying that contrary to some opinions, Peter Obi supporters who are widely known and called Obidients or ‘The Obidients are more peaceful in their ways compared to supporters of President Buhari back in 2011.
The Senator known for his witty tweets, taking to his official twitter handle on Wednesday 5th April 2023, once again weighed in on the debate on whether or not the allegations of violent verbal and social media attacks that have been levelled against supporters of Labour Party Presidential candidate in the just concluded general elections, Peter Obi are true.
Supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC had tagged Obidients as violent people following alleged verbal attacks on other presidential candidates, especially in the Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
Senator Shehu Sani tweeted this saying:
“NO patriot should trigger or encourage anarchy; but we shouldn’t also ‘shorten our memories’;what Peter’s supporters are doing in 2023 is more peaceful than what Buhari’s supporters did in http://2011.You only need to recall the past in order appreciate the present” he said.
This tweet by the Senator comes after he tweeted speaking about the alleged leaked phone call between Obi and Pastor Oyedepo. He said :
“The difference between the Christian political bigotry & the Muslim political bigotry is that the former is spoken in English while the latter is spoken in Hausa or Arabic.The former doesn’t need translation while the latter is deliberately or strategically not translated,” he said.

Buhari did instigate Post 2011 Election Violence from his supporters! You only need to peruse Nigerian and international newspapers of April 2011. -APC in 2015 also stated they will not accept the results unless they won! So why this Bulaba Balablu now?
