An 18-year-old student of Irish nationality attacked his roommate in their apartment in Cergy Pontoise, Val-d’Oise. He was arrested, BFM reports.
According to the report, the 18-year-old man attacked his roommate with a chainsaw in their apartment located in a residence in Cergy-Pontoise in Val-d’Oise, a police source confirmed to Europe 1.
The police arrived on Wednesday morning. At first, they discovered the victim in the hall of the building. He had a major neck wound. The young man explains to them that he was attacked by his roommate.
Not brave enough to commit suicide
The latter, a student from Essec, a business school, is found in their apartment on the 1st floor. He was arrested without difficulty. According to his first declarations, he would have intended to commit suicide. Not having the courage, he allegedly attacked his roommate.
The weapon, the chainsaw, was found at the foot of the building. The 25-year-old victim was taken to Georges Pompidou Hospital in Paris. His vital prognosis is engaged.
