Rapper Nick Minaj has just confirmed that she is pregnant, as she shares her first baby bump shoot as an expecting and first-time mom on her social media handle.
Her baby bump shoot which she revealed on Monday, took fans by surprised, as millions took to the comment section of her Instagram handle, to congratulate her and her husband on their unborn child. She made the post showing a baby bump shoot, where she is cradling her protruding baby bump with a one-word caption and a yellow heart that says:
” Preggerz”
While the reveal has come as a surprise to many of her fans, there have been speculations that the rapper was actually pregnant, and was hiding it from the public eye. But the release of her music video for single “Trollz”, somehow gave fans a picture that she might really be pregnant.
In 2019, Nicki told Entertainment Tonight that she and her husband Kenneth Petty were ready to have kids, but said there were “a couple of things she had to do” first
“We practice all the time, like, you know, three times a night,” Nicki said at the time.
She added: “At first I was like, ‘I want it now. I want it now.’ And then I started thinking if I want it right, right now or if I want to wait another year because I have a couple things that I have to do.”
Nicki had previously announced on Twitter that she was planning on retiring from her music career to start a family.
