The First Lady of Nigeria, Mrs Aisha Buhari has released a photo confirming what looks like the traditional wedding or engagement of her youngest daughter, Aisha Hanan Buhari.
Aisha Hanan Buhari who is the youngest daughter of Mrs Aisha and President Muhammadu Buhari, in the photo shared by the First Lady on Friday 4th September 2020, was pictured with her husband to be, or her husband, Mr Mohammed Turad and herself embellished in their traditional attire for their engagement.
While no official announcement or confirmation has been made concerning Mohammed Turad and Aisha Hanan Buhari’s engagement, we will just assume that the photos shared by the First Lady, was from their private engagement ceremony, while we wait for the First family to release a statement confirming or stating otherwise.
Aisha Hanan Buhari who was some weeks back was quarantined after returning from abroad at the peak of the novel coronavirus, is a professional photographer. While Mohammed Turad is a special adviser to former Lagos State governor and current Minister of Works, Babatunde Fashola.
The 22-year-old Hanan, also recently graduated with a first-class degree from Bellerbys College in Brighton, United Kingdom, as a photographer.
Her graduation ceremony and photos were shared by Mrs Aisha Buhari on her Instagram on Tuesday 3rd December 2019.
Mohammed Turad is the son of a former lawmaker, Alhaji Mahmud Sani Sha’aban, who represented Zaria in the House of Representatives from May 2003 to May 2007.
Sha’aban is also a former governorship candidate in Kaduna State under the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria.
A big congratulations to the couple and to the first family, as we await the official confirmation of the union.
