PHOTO: Suspected Imposter Of EFCC Chairman Arrested

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested a suspect who has been parading himself as the chairman of the Commission. The imposter who was said to have been using the name ‘Magu’ to extort money from members of the public, was paraded before the press, as the commission cautioned the general public to be vigilant as such criminals elements are trying to bring the name of the commission to disrepute.

The Commission said this in a statement released online. The statement reads:

EFCC arrest fake magu whose real name is Felix Idowu, but poses as an operative to extort money from victims to “kill” petitions purportedly written against them. #BeWise no EFCC operative will demand for money or invite a suspect to anywhere apart from #EFCCNearYou office.
