Fans of Bella Hadid and The Weekend are probably fed up with how they have gone about their relationship, as barely a year after the two reconciled, they have once again gone their separate ways!
Although fans and industry watchers feel it is a strategy by the two lovebirds to keep pushing their numbers, especially on social media, while others feel it was because The Weekend is trying to drop a new album so, the news of their split was allegedly pre-planned.
According to E News, source close to the couple revealed to E! that “Bella and Abel have split” and the reason given by the insider, was due to “distance” which played a factor in the Grammy-winning singer and his supermodel girlfriend calling it quits.
“They are in different places right now, physically and mentally,” the source explains. “Bella is prepping for her fashion week commitments and Abel is working on his music and his upcoming acting debut.”
The Weeknd confirmed that he was in “album mode,” validating the source’s comments.
Normally, the couple would travel from opposite sides of the country to spend time with each other but their current schedules wouldn’t allow this to happen as frequently as they’d like. Often, they would end up in the cities at “opposite times.” This distance reportedly led to frequent disagreements with the source disclosing that the two “have been arguing a lot recently.”
The two lovebirds who have been on and off since 2015 are looking to focus more on their jobs for now, but they will rekindle their love again.
