Naomi Osaka debuts on the covers of GQ magazine, as the 2018 US Open Champion shares some of the shoots on her social media page.
Naomi Osaka has been in the tennis world for a while now, despite her young age, as she has reached four finals in her tour and winning two. But she came into the limelight (more like a breakthrough) when she beat Female tennis Legend, multiple Grand Slam winner and someone she has looked up to growing up, Serena Williams at the just concluded US Open final.
Naomi Osaka won that game that will go down in the history of women tennis as one of the most, if not the most controversial women tennis game ever, after the outburst between Serena Williams and the umpire of that game.
The controversies aside, Naomi won the game and got a congratulatory hug from Serena, and ever since, she has become the Japanese number one super celebrity and the face of Japanese Tennis. She is also making the Japanese society rethink all the stereotype on mixed race children and marriage.
She put up her latest work with this caption:
“So honored to be on the cover of @gqjapan one of the most fun shoots I’ve ever done ❤️❤️❤️ #gqjapan”
Naomi who celebrated her 21st birthday a few days ago (16th October) got an interesting birthday message from celebrity talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres.
While wishing Naomi a happy birthday, Ellen DeGeneres tried to matchmake her with her crush, and Black Panther star, Michael B Jordan, and somehow it worked, as both Naomi and Michael responded to her tweet in some hilarious way. I must say, Ellen DeGeneres has some skills, as she did it effortlessly. She wrote this on her twitter page:
Ellen DeGeneres @TheEllenShow
Happy birthday, @Naomi_Osaka_. I got you a present. @michaelb4jordan

Michael enjoying the moment, replied with:
