Raphael Varane to Manchester United is now a done deal, as the English Premier League club, confirmed in a statement on Tuesday night.

Manchester United which will be looking to push for the English Premier League title next season having finished second behind eventual winner and city rival, Manchester United, confirmed Raphael Varane to the OldTrafford in an official statement on their social media handle.

The official statement from the club confirming the Raphael Varane deal reads:

“Agreement in principle between Manchester United and Real Madrid for Raphaël Varane, confirmed”.

“Manchester United is delighted to announce the club has reached an agreement for Raphaël Varane, subject to a medical and to player terms being finalised”.

According to reports, Raphaël Varane will be in England later this week, then after the quarantine period, he will undergo his medical and sign his contract until June 2025, with an option until June 2026 already agreed since weeks.

Before today, the player was said not to be extending his contract [now expiring in June 2022] with Real Madrid because he wants a new challenge, a new experience in the Premier League. No other clubs are involved as of today, only Manchester United.

The player is said to be respecting Florentino, the board, Ancelotti and his teammates. So, he is doing his best and train with the team until the two clubs will find an agreement if the deal will be completed.
