Popular cross-dresser Bobrisky has vowed to stand by his friend Ismailia Mustapha aka Mompha, after he was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday over alleged N6billion fraud.
The cross-dresser Bobrisky who laughed off allegations that he was going to betray his friend Mompha and rubbish him over his latest ordeal, said that those who have such thoughts about him, don’t understand the kind of person he is. He said he values friendship so much, that he will be the last person to kick Mompha while he is down, despite their altercation late last year.
He had this to say to those people:
“Many people try everything to break us cos they don’t understand d friendship, well it’s their business and their opinion. Just imagine reading some comments on blogs saying bobrisky will be somewhere laughing and dancing after d news of ur re arrest broke out. You all know don’t know me lol. I value friendship more than my life,” he said.
The cross-dresser Bobrisky even went as far as saying that:
“…I’m that friend that stand till death cos my friendship with you is d purest!,” he said.
Putting out a special message to Mompha, he posted a photo of him with a lovely message that reads:
“I know wherever you are right now you are fine. Have always know you as a strong man not d weak,” he adds.
“I’m here to tell you all that mompha is fine. He will address you all soon. Have a great day,” cross-dresser Bobrisky add.
The Dubai-based Instagram celebrity Mompha was arraigned on Wednesday, alongside his firm, Ismalob Global Investment Limited on alleged fraud to the tune of over N6billion.
The anti-graft agency arraigned Mompha and Ismalob before Justice Mojisola Dada of an Ikeja Special Offences Court on eight counts bordering on the offences.
The defendants were accused of conspiracy to launder funds obtained through unlawful activity, retention of such funds, transfer of funds for a suspect Olayinka Jimoh a.k.a Nappy Boy, and unlawful transfer of funds for a record label, among others.
The sums named in the charge seen by The Nation are N5,998,884.653.18, N32million, N120million and N15,960,000, totalling over N6billion.
Instagram celebrity Mompha is also standing trial at the Federal High Court in Lagos alongside Ismalob Global Investment Limited on an amended 22-count charge bordering on cyberfraud and money laundering to the tune of N32.9bn brought against him by the EFCC.
He pleaded not guilty to each of the counts.
