Breaking: John Terry writes Spartak Moscow rejects offers

John Terry has written to Russian Club, Spartak Moscow declining their big money offers for him, sighting family reasons.

The former Chelsea and England captain who was earlier linked to the Russian club and both parties reported to have already agreed to personal terms, has made a U-turn, as he feels his move will affect his family, who are reluctant to move.

John Terry given that he already retired and at the age and stage he needs to spend more time with his family. He feels staying away from them to live and play football in Russia, is not ideal for his young family.

Taking to his social media page to apologize for any inconveniences his decision might have caused the club and fan, he put up these few words:

“After considerable thought, I have decided to decline a contract offer from Spartak Moscow.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank Spartak and wish them and their supporters well for the rest of the season.
They are an ambitious club and I have been very impressed with their professionalism. But after assessing this move with my family, we’ve decided this is not the right move for ourselves at this time.
Good Luck Spartak ?⚪️

John Terry who left Chelsea after a successful career continued with Championship side Aston Villa where he also captained them but were not so lucky in the playoffs as their bid to return to the English Premier League was dashed after suffering a defeat.

The former Blues captain rather than seek for a coaching job like Frank Lampard and the rest still want to play the round leather game as a player and not coach.
John Terry could be aiming for an English club, where he can spend more time with his family, even with little wages compare to what Spartak Moscow are offering him.
