The Nigeria Senate President Senator Saraki has sent in his letter to the Nigerian Police on the issue of Offa robbery, where he was alleged by the Nigerian Police to have been implicated by a confessional statement received from the arrested suspects.

The Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial zone, a few minutes ago, said he has written a letter and sent to the Nigerian Police which they have received, but did not make the content of the letter available to the public.

The Nigerian Police which has come under huge criticisms for alleging the Senate President Senator Saraki and the Governor of Kwara State Abdulfatah Ahmed as sponsors of the robbery incident in Offa Kwara State. The robbery incident that saw over 30 people allegedly killed saw the Police soft-pedal in their asking of the Senate President to appear before it, by asking for just a written note.

The Police in their summons of the President of the Senate, had earlier said:
