Senator Shehu Sani has labelled Herdsmen whom he said continues to massacre Nigerians senselessly as terrorists. The Senator who was blunt as ever but not without some touch of humour as usual, insist Nigerians and leaders alike have to call a thing what it is and not try to be politically correct, especially when human lives are involved and when the actual facts are starring them in the face.
He said the Herdsmen are terrorists and not mere Herdsmen, after the latest killings in Birni Gwari local government in Kaduna State. The Senator Representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District said the Herdsmen and bandits attacking Taraba, Benue, Zamfara, Birni Gwari and other areas of the country are terrorists. He insists that the country must label the group as such, except they want to call a spade a spoon or pestle…lol

In another related story, the Senator also call for support for the president in the fight against terrorism in the country, saying he is ready to support the government. He said he will table a move on the floor of the Senate that will call for more funding of the police, civil defence and all other security agencies so that more attention will be given to them just Luke the Military are getting to end the crisis. He said:
I will support the President on the floor of the senate to fund and equip the DSS,Police and Civil Defence, as he did to the Military so that we can bring an end to all the excuses now ‘produced daily in an industrial-scale.
