The uncle of popular Afro-pop singer Davido, Senator Adeleke has declared his intention to run for the Osun State Governorship elections slated for 22nd of September 2018. The Senator who made his Intention known through an open letter written to the Senate President, and the Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, said he is running to ensure the party’s success in the Governorship elections. Senator Adeleke popular for his dancing skills will be hoping to repeat his landslide victory during his Senatorial elections where he won 9 local government Areas out of the total 10 in his Osun West Senatorial zone.
The Senator will be hoping to ride on the popularity of his nephew, Davido just like he did in the Senatorial elections to win the Governorship elections, as the entertainer himself is already soliciting for support for his uncle. This decision clearly will be a serious worry for the All Progressives Congress, as the Adeleke plan a comeback to the Osun State Government house. In accordance with the directives of leadership our great party. I wish to respectfully express my interest to vie for the party’s ticket as it’s candidate in the Osun Governorship elections holding on September 22nd 2018.
I am a financial member of the party in Sagba Agbodude in ward 2, Ede North local government in Osun West Senatorial District.
My decision to express this intent is based on my conviction that i posses all it takes unite party leaders and members and gavernise the general electorate towards ensuring a resounding victory for the PDP in the forthcoming polls.
As a loyal party member from one of the strongest politival base of the PDP in Osun State, I am able, willing and prepared to offer myself for this great service if given the opportunity to fly our flag as the governorship candidate.
