Chris Hughes struggled to keep his hands off new girlfriend JoJo Siwa, as he introduced her to his parents after travelling to their home in the Cotswolds.
The Love Island star, 32, and dancer, 22, finally confirmed earlier this week that they were an item following weeks of speculation, with JoJo admitting she’s ‘head over heels’ for Chris.
After travelling to visit Chris’s family in the countryside, the couple could barely keep their hands off each other as they enjoyed a romantic stroll together on Wednesday – the first sighting of the pair since JoJo revealed they’d made their romance official.
The couple, who met in the Celebrity Big Brother house in April, held hands as they enjoyed a well-deserved break, after JoJo flew to the UK for two London shows and to promote her new single Bulletproof.
A source also told MailOnline that JoJo has already ‘charmed’ Chris’s parents, adding: ‘JoJo and Chris Hughes are absolutely loved-up.
‘Meeting the parents is a big step, but she charmed everyone. Looks like JoJo has traded in her bows for a bit of British countryside bliss!’
In a noticeable nod to their close bond, JoJo was also sporting one of Chris’s rings on her necklace, which she has worn since he gave it to her during their time in the CBB house.
The pair were also sporting matching bracelets given to them by a fan at one of JoJo’s London shows, with red and white beads in a nod to Chris’s beloved football team Sunderland.
Despite jetting to Mexico to surprise her for her 22nd birthday last month, proceeding to mark the milestone with the singer and her family in Orlando, and later sharing a steamy bedroom selfie, JoJo played coy about their relationship status until earlier this week.
A source also previously told DailyMail.com that Chris also seems to have received the seal of approval from JoJo’s parents, Jessalynn and Tom, who are not believed to have any qualms with the ten-year age gap.
‘Her parents are all in for JoJo’s happiness and see Chris as someone very special and are eager to see where it all goes,’ the insider said.
‘They fully support their daughter’s decision. JoJo has grown up before our eyes, and will jump into things with both feet, so her friends aren’t surprised that she is acting this way with Chris.
‘No one is talking about the age gap or if they are rushing into things. Everyone just wants to see JoJo happy.
JoJo, who reunited with Chris in the UK last week, is so happy she may mention her new man in new music.
The insider added: ‘She has been thinking of writing songs about her relationship with Chris.’
In a recent interview with Sunday Brunch, JoJo fought back tears as she shared how her parents ‘think the absolute world of Chris.’
She said: ‘Him and my Dad are like best friends, Chris was actually telling me this yesterday, they went to the spa together yesterday.
‘They’re literally best friends, Mom Siwa she absolutely adores him. I love watching her watch us, because I’ve never seen my mom so happy, and it’s… it’s… I could cry.
‘Honestly, it makes me happy to have everybody act as… it feels like we’re a family, it feels like he’s been in my family for how ever many years it feels like forever.
‘He gets along as well as I do. I think he loves me because of my parents!’
On Monday, JoJo finally confirmed that she and Chris Hughes were in a relationship, following weeks of speculation.
While JoJo has been grilled many times on her relationship status, she had been noticeably coy, simply branding Chris her ‘favourite person in the world.’
But in an interview with Capital Radio, JoJo confirmed that she and Chris Hughes have made their relationship official, and she’s started calling him her boyfriend.
Speaking in a video for the channel’s new series Capital Buzz, the dancer admitted that she’s had to explain her viral ‘Dream guest on my podcast’ moment to Chris.
She then added: ‘I’m sure it’s no secret to people, I am in a lovely relationship with a sweet boy named Christopher Hughes.’
In an earlier interview with The Guardian, JoJo gushed about her blossoming romance with Chris.
She said: ‘It’s not platonic any more, and it’s been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I’m absolutely head over heels for him and he’s the same way.’
The Dance Moms star also hit back at speculation that their relationship is a ‘PR stunt,’ saying: ‘Clearly, you’ve never been around us. I won’t ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now.
‘Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I’ve never [before] been in pain from smiling so much.’
On Sunday, Chris sent fans into a frenzy when he shared a steamy bedroom snap with JoJo on Snapchat.
The Dance Moms star had been coy when asked about the exact moment she developed feelings for Chris Hughes.
Speaking during a Q&A with fans at Pineapple Dance Studios on Saturday, she said: ‘Loads of different times, loads of different times on different levels. I’m very very happy where we are currently, obviously, I mean I literally smile every single second of every single day now.
‘One of personal biggest frustrations in my life now is that I actually don’t know, I genuinely don’t know, and I’ve spoken to him about it, I’ve spoken to my mom about it, I don’t know the moment that it,’ before snapping her fingers.
She added: ‘It was never like a light switch happened, it was just… you know what I mean? And so I genuinely don’t know! It’s serendipity!’
Last week, JoJo took to Instagram to reflect on her London shows, admitting she has never felt so ‘content and happy,’ and described her first few days in the UK as ‘the perfect time with perfect people in a perfect place’.
Chris had attended JoJo’s first show in London the previous night, but the star admitted he couldn’t attend Tuesday’s performance.
Instead, she brought along the orange beanie he’d given her while in the house, after she caught Chris singing one of her hits while she was still asleep.
She told the audience: ‘This morning I woke up and all I heard was [sings Nobody Can Change me] he was singing, so I figured today I’d bring a little bit of him while I sing this next song.’
As the show came to a close, JoJo wept at the crowd’s reception, telling her fans that after once feeling she was ‘one of the most hated people in the world,’ she felt ‘so special and so loved’.
