Trump confirms he spoke with Kanye over ASAP, to call Sweden

The President of the United States, President Donald Trump a few hours ago, confirmed speaking with his friend and rapper, Kanye West over ASAP Rocky who is languishing in a jail in Sweden.

President Trump who though did not share the details of his phone conversation with Kanye West to the public, confirmed that he spoke with the husband to Kim Kardashian and controversial personality himself, over the issue that have generated alot of public outcry and condemnation.

He said so many people would like to see ASAP Rocky freed from jail and quickly too, as he promised that he will put a call through to the Prime Minister of Sweden Stefan Lofven to see how it can be resolved quickly.

Taking to his Instagram account, he said:

“Just spoke to Kanye West about his friend A$AP Rocky’s incarceration. I will be calling the very talented Prime Minister of Sweden to see what we can do about helping A$AP Rocky. So many people would like to see this quickly resolved”

ASAP Rocky, has been detained in Sweden since early July 2019 without being charged, after he was accused of assaulting a man in Stockholm.

According to rumours that have been going around, the jail condition in which ASAP Rocky is being held is inhumane and he has been getting the worse treatment inside since his arrest.

Also, Trump’s suggestion is coming just days after we reported that Kanye West told his wife Kim Kardashian to call the White House and use her connection there to effect the release of the rapper.

We are yet to hear from Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, but Trump coming out with this message shows that Kim Kardashian actually used her contacts inside.

Kim Kardashian West, was said to have asked Trump’s senior advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner to help A$AP Rocky’s cause.

Kushner raised the issue with Trump, who directed Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to work with Swedish authorities to ensure the rapper’s quick release.
