422 New COVID-19 Cases Reported In Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) have reported and confirmed a total of 422 new COVID-19 cases of the coronavirus and 1 death in the country.

According to the daily report by the health agency, the 422 new COVID-19 cases reported on Tuesday 11th January 2022, now put the total number of confirmed cases since the inception of the pandemic to 249154 confirmed cases and 220195 as of the number of discharged cases.

The death toll also stands at 3086 deaths all recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The 422 new cases were reported from 15 states and the distribution of these cases across these states and the federal capital territory, shows the following:

Ekiti-5

According to the report by NCDC, Tuesday’s report includes:
20 cases reported from Bauchi state for 7th (12), 8th (1), 9th (2), and 10th (5) January 2022, 6 cases reported from Delta state for 4th (2) and 7th (4) January 2022, 0 cases reported from Abia, Sokoto, and Zamfara, States.
