The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported a total of 107 new COVID-19 cases in the country on Tuesday.
The NCDC in its daily updates on the situation of the pandemic in the country on Tuesday 7th November 2021, reported that 107 new COVID-19 cases reported and confirmed on this date, which also saw zero deaths being recorded.
According to the statement released by the NCDC, the new cases were recorded from 8 states, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The distribution of the 107 new cases of COVID-19 across these states shows the following:
FCT-38
Oyo-21
Rivers-17
Edo-13
Delta-7
Enugu-4
Zamfara-4
Plateau-3
Also, the latest cases now put the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria as of Tuesday at 214,896 and the total number of discharged cases at 207,495, with the number of deaths recorded so far at 2,980 deaths.
NCDC in their report added that today’s report includes:
7 confirmed cases reported for Delta state for 6th (4) & 7th (3) December 2021.
4 confirmed cases were reported for Enugu State for 6th December 2021.
1 discharged case reported for Enugu state for 6th December 2021.
5 states with zero cases reported: Kano, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Sokoto.
