Soludo’s wife, Nonye has once again taken to her official social media account to thank Ndi Anambra for their overwhelming support.

Soludo’s wife who is the incoming First Lady of Anambra State, after her husband, a former Governor of the Nigeria Centra Bank (CBN) was a few days ago announced the winner of the Anambra State Governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), took to her social media on Tuesday 16th November 2021, to reflect on the journey so far. She said:

“…Just reflecting on the journey and all I can say is to God be all the glory and adoration! Thank you again Ndị Anambra for the overwhelming support,” Soludo’s wife had said.

INEC had announced Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as the winner of the 2021 Anambra gubernatorial election, on November 10th 2021.

The Returning Officer of INEC, Prof. Florence Obi, who announced the results early Wednesday morning in Awka, Anambra State, said, “Soludo, having scored the highest number of votes and won more than two-third of the election in 21 Local Government, is hereby declared winner.”

Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo won 19 of the 21 Local Governments election results declared by INEC.

The APGA governorship candidate polled 112,229 votes to defeat Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who garnered 53,807 votes to emerge second, while Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC) got 43,285 votes to emerge third.

Ifeanyi Ubah of the Young Progressives Party, YPP, came fourth with 21,261 votes.
