Power actor Rotimi and his partner, Vanessa Mdee have revealed to their fans that they had a baby shower as they prepare for the arrival of their first child together.
The Power actor Rotimi 32, and whose real name is Olurotimi Akinosho, on Friday 17th September took to his social media handle to share a series of photos from their baby shower, with a caption that reads:
“Baby Shower Vibees!”.
Vanessa also shared the same photos on her Instagram handle with over 7 million followers, as the couple from the photos clearly had a themed party that was attended by friends and family members at their home.
The couple did not go for too many decorations, as they adopted the colour white for their outfits, with the Power Actor who was photographed placing a kiss on Vanessa’s baby bump, opting for a white and brown outfit.
Although we cannot tell all those in attendance by their names, from the photos, it is clear that the couples nieces and family members, as well as best friends, were all there to share in the fun.
The baby shower is coming a few days after Rotimi and Vanessa Mdee surprised everyone with the release of a series of baby bump photos, to announce that they are expecting their first child together, a baby boy a.k.a ‘baby Buta’.
Rotimi took to his social media page on Tuesday 7th September 2021, to confirm that they are expecting, where he worte:
“My greatest gift has been you. You changed my life and now we are beautifully linked forever to raise a little us. I pray our son has your glow Your heart, Your mind, and your spirit. I will protect you and our son with everything I have!,” he said.
He continued in another post:
“You belong in a museum, baby …. Buttascotch prince on the way,” he added.
Vanessa Mdee also took to her private social media account to express her joy at becoming a mother for the first time. She shared similar photos with Rotimi, where she captioned them with some Bible verse, saying:
“The greatest gift of all, THANKYOU JESUS for choosing us – it is a true true honor. We are overjoyed.
Isaiah 55:2 – Al your children shall be taught by the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children,” she added.
