“As we step into the month of April, permit me to first offer my deepest sympathies to the families of Ben Ajide, a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) and the two other policemen who lost their lives in yesterday’s unfortunate dastardly blood letting act orchestrated by gunmen at a rally organized by Prof Chukwuma Soludo,” she said.
Princess Stella Oduah in a statement released on Thursday 1st April 2021, added that:
“I’m also in prayers with the family of Engr Emeka Ezenwune, the Anambra State Commissioner for Public Utilities whilst calling on the police high command to expedite action in ensuring his safe release and the arrest and prosecution of all those responsible for this heinous crime which does not in any way define who we are as a people,” she added.
Professor Chukwuma Soludo who is one of the Anambra State gubernatorial aspirants under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), is said to be in a safe house, after the attack at the Isuofia Town Hall that also saw the abduction of Engineer Emeka Ezenwanne, Anambra State Commissioner for Public Utilities.
No official statement has been released by the Police State command to confirm the incident, as militia group continued to senselessly gun down security operatives in the South-East region, unprovoked.
