Anambra Youth Leaders Condemns Attack On Prof. Soludo

The Coalition of Anambra Youth Leaders (CAYL), have condemned in strong terms, the attack on Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, and the abduction of Engineer Emeka Ezenwanne, Anambra State Commissioner for Public Utilities by gunmen on Wednesday, 31st March 2021.

Speaking to the press, a representative of the coalition of Anambra Youth Leaders Hon. Nwabufo Nwankwo, reiterated that Anambra State has enjoyed a peaceful atmosphere under the seven years administration of Gov. Willie Obiano, therefore any attempt to destroy that legacy shall be vehemently resisted by Ndi Anambra.

While waiting for the security agencies to conduct a thorough investigation, we advise hoodlums, bandits, political thugs to stay away from Anambra state or have themselves to blame.

We thank God for the safety of the erudite Professor of Economics and pray for the eternal repose of the souls of the security men who lost their lives during the attack.

We enjoin Anambra Youths to rise up against all those whose only ambition is to destroy our state and keep us in perpetual chaos.

Professor Chukwuma Soludo who is one of the Anambra State gubernatorial aspirants under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), is said to be in a safe house, after the attack at the Isuofia Town Hall that also saw the abduction of Engineer Emeka Ezenwanne, Anambra State Commissioner for Public Utilities.

No official statement has been released by the Police State command to confirm the incident, as militia group continued to senselessly gun down security operatives in the South-East region, unprovoked.
