Jada Pinkett and Willow Smith have revealed to the world that they are both attracted to women, saying a relationship with the same sex, is something that could happen in the future.
Jada Pinkett and Willow Smith appeared on their Facebook Watch show, Red Table Talk, where they opened up about their sexualities.
Pinkett Smith, who is married to Will Smith, told her daughter that she “swooned a lot” over women while in her twenties and that she has “been infatuated with a woman” twice in her life.
Willow, 20, told her mum: “I don’t feel like I’ve been in love with a woman just yet, but I definitely feel like it could happen because I’ve had very strong feelings for women before.”
She continued: “I’ve had my fair share of swooning and being like, ‘Oh my God, she’s so beautiful. She’s so talented.”
Pinkett Smith, 49, married Hollywood star Smith in 1997 and, alongside Willow, they have a son, the actor Jaden, who is 22.
In July 2019, Pinkett Smith revealed she had a relationship with singer August Alsina during a time when she was separated from Smith.
Pinkett Smith denied Alsina’s claims that her husband had given him “permission”.
Reports of a relationship between the pair first arose in June 2019, after Alsina claimed he “gave years of his life” to a romance with the Girl’s Trip actress during an interview with The Breakfast Club’s Angela Yee
After initially denying the reports, the actor admitted to the relationship during an episode of Red Table Talk the following month.
At the time, Pinkett Smith said she and her husband have now reached a place of “unconditional love”.
