Singer Billie Eilish has replied Kanye West for demanding an apology from her and threatening to pull out of Coachella if she refused to apologise to rapper Travis Scott, after she allegedly took a jab at him during a concert in Atlanta.
Singer Billie Eilish had a few days ago, stopped her concert in Atlanta to make sure a fan near the front row was okay, as they were having trouble breathing. Then came the shot at Travis — “I wait for people to be okay before I keep going,” she said.
The comment was seen by many as her making a reference to rapper Travis Scott keeping his show going at the infamous Astroworld event while people in the front of the stage were being crushed.
Billie Eilish, after Kanye West made a post demanding her apology after her jab allegedly aimed at Travis Scott, responded to Kanye West tweet in his comments section, saying:
“Literally never said a thing about Travis. Was just helping a fan,” Eilish replied.
The beef started when Eilish stopped her show in Atlanta on Saturday to attend to a fan having breathing problems in front of the stage. Eilish got her crew to procure an inhaler for the fan.
Today, West stood up for Scott in an Instagram post. West and Eilish are headlining the Coachella Music & Arts festival over two weekends on April 15-17 and 22-24.
The all-caps, no-punctuation rant on West’s Instagram indicated his displeasure.
“COME ON BILLIE WE LOVE YOU PLEASE APOLOGIZE TO TRAV AND TO THE FAMILIES OF THE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES NO ONE INTENDED THIS TO HAPPEN TRAV DIDN’T HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING WHEN HE WAS ON STAGE AND WAS VERY HURT BY WHAT HAPPENED AND YES TRAV WILL BE WITH ME AT COACHELLA BUT NOW I NEED BILLIE TO APOLOGIZE BEFORE I PERFORM” West said.
