Manchester City stars of Riyad Mahrez, and his teammate, Aymeric Laporte have tested positive to the novel coronavirus.
The club in a statement posted on their official social media handle on Monday 7th September 2020, confirmed the latest development.
According to the club statement, both Mahrez and Laporte are currently observing a period of self-isolation in accordance with Premier League and UK Government protocol on quarantine.
Neither Marez nor Laporte is displaying symptoms of the virus.
The club said everyone at the Club are wishing Riyad and Aymeric Laporte a speedy recovery ahead of their return to training and the new season.
