Nigeria now has 54,588 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 125 new cases recorded on Thursday 3rd September 2020.
According to Thursday’s publication by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on their official social media handle, aside from the 125 new cases recorded on Thursday, the country has now recorded 42,627 discharged patients. The agency also confirmed that as at this same date, about 1,048 patients have lost their lives to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The tweet revealed that Lagos State had the highest number of the 125 new cases of the infections on Thursday night with 42 cases, with FCT following with 25 cases.
