International Flights To Resume Sept 5th With Abuja,Lagos Airports

The Presidential Taskforce on COVID19 in a Press briefing on Thursday 3rd September 2020, at held its Press Briefing at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja announced that International flights are to resume by September 5th, with the reopening of Abuja and Lagos airports.

This according to the Taskforce, was after the inspection on Safety and Protocol facilities put in place for  flights at the airports.

The Hon. Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika who also spoke at the press briefing at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja, confirmed the information, saying:

“I am very glad to announce the reopening of Abuja and Lagos airports for international flights for the 5th of September, 2020. We remain grateful for your understanding and patience towards our collective safety,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Taskforce has moved the COVID-19 curfew nationwide to midnight to 4am.
