COVID-19 Evacuation: 270 Stranded Nigerians In Egypt Arrive Abuja

The Federal Government of Nigeria, in continuation of the COVID-19 evacuation, on Friday, announced that about Two hundred and seventy Nigerians stranded in Egypt departed the North African country and have all arrived Abuja, Nigeria.

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) in a tweeter handle on Friday said the new set of COVID-19 evacuation/evacuees arrive at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at exactly 2:30 pm local time today 10th of July, 2020.

According to the commission, all the returnees tested negative to COVID-19 and have been directed to on 14-day self-isolation, in line with the guidelines set by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) as well as the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19.
