Popular Tanzania singer, Vanessa Mdee has taken to her Instagram to profess her undying love to her new man, and Hollywood actor and singer, Rotimi as he celebrates his birthday on Saturday.
The two lovebirds who have become a hot topic since confirming the rumour of them dating, exchanged some intimate text explaining what they mean to each other on Rotimi’s special day.
Vanessa taking to her Instagram page, posted a video of Rotimi and herself celebrating his day in Dubai, with this caption that her followers cannot get over. She captioned the Video with:
“God must have spent a little more time on you twin soul. Words fail me … grateful for your life and the blessing that you are to this generation and many more to come. So grateful we found each other again this lifetime. Honored to stand by your side as you continue to further unlock your light. You already know how I feel. Rotimi also, responded, calling the Tanzania beauty his “greatest gift”.
Before this birthday surprised, the latest couple in town had taken to their Instagram some days back, to officially tell the world that they are dating sharing a photo taken from a date night.
Venessa Mdee also revealed in a recent interview with Millard that she met Rotimi through a friend at the Essence Festival after-party in the US, where the singer was invited to perform. She said within two days of meeting him, she knew he was her husband.
“It took me just two days for me to know that he was my husband,” she said. “You know when you are in love with somebody. Yes, I’m in love with him,” she said.
“it felt like we had known each other for years.”
She adds: I am not a young girl, so I know what it feels like when you meet someone who you will stay with for life” she was quoted to have said.
