Veteran MC, and friend to the late 2Pac, Snoop Dogg and others, Jamarr Antonio Stamps who is better known as Bad Azz has been reported dead inside the Riverside County’s Southwest Detention Center.
According to the report by Xxl magazine on Tuesday, Bad Azz was reported to have passed away while he was in custody at Riverside County’s Southwest Detention Center, where he was awaiting trial for a felony charge.
The report added that some court documents had shown that the rapper had been arrested and charged with a felony on November 8th 2019, and was expected to be in court on November 13th 2019 before the sad news on Monday night.
Bad Azz’s death which has come a few days before his birthday, has come as a major shock to many, and while the cause of death is still being investigated, as circumstances surrounding his purported passing is yet to be confirmed, fans have been sharing their memorable moments of the late rapper on social media, the report added.
The late Bad Azz was a member of Tha Dogg Pound and frequently collaborated with Snoop Dogg in the early 1990s. He was also signed to Doggystyle Records.
The likes of Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger, KXNG Crooked, Vince Staples, Glasses Malone, Memphis Bleek and other rappers have eulogized the rapper.
