The London Metropolitan Police has a few hours ago, released a photo of one of the victims of Friday violent rampage in the City of London, and one of the photos released is that of a British-Nigerian, a 19-year-old Eniola Aluko.

According to the statement by the Police, who are still investigating the three deaths from Friday to Saturday stabbing and gun violence in London, said Eniola Aluko who is from Thamesmead, after a post-mortem examination which held on Saturday, 15 June 2019, at Greenwich Mortuary the result shows that the cause of death was as a gunshot wound to the neck and chest.

The detectives investigating the fatal shooting in Plumstead also reported that they have so far made a fifth arrest, after the arrest of an 18-year-old man who is believed to be behind the Saturday murder.

The Police said they received a call to a car park on Hartville Road, SE18 at 16:54hrs on Friday, 14 June 2019, alongside armed officers, local officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance where Eniola Aluko was reportedly shot and bled to death from the injuries sustained from the gunshot wound.

The Police said after they arrived the scene he was already dead and the body was taken away in an Ambulance. A contact was made with Eniola Aluko’s next of kin afterwards, where they were informed about the unfortunate incident, and formal identification was made.

The Police also reported that four other people – three males [A -17yrs; B – 16yrs; C – 16yrs] and a 17-year-old girl [D] – were arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday, 14 June have been bailed until early July pending further enquiries.

Detective Inspector John Marriott while speaking on the violent attacks in London, said:

“I am continuing to appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time, who saw or heard anything suspicious to contact police.

“The shooting took place not far from Plumstead Railway Station and I would urge anyone who was commuting to or from this station to come forward. It was also sunny at the time and a number of people would have been enjoying the weather in the area of Plumstead Gardens; I need you to come forward.

“Although we have now made five arrests I am continuing to ask for your help to progress this investigation.”
