Dabota Lawson has taken to her Instagram to say that she has someone she wished she dealt with the way actress Tonto Dikeh is bashing her ex-husband Olakunle Churchill on social media.
Dabota Lawson who is a close friend to Tonto Dikeh, and have been supportive of her through her outburst, also has gone through her own marriage troubles. She clearly understands and has felt what it means to be in the situation of Tonto.
The ex-beauty queen was once married to billionaire businessman, Sunny Aku, and they have a child together before everything parked up almost immediately after the wedding.
The wedding between Dabota Lawson and her then husband Prince Sunny Aku who was thirty-five years older than her, held in Lagos at the Oriental hotel in 2014. The wedding held after seven months after they met, and after a year and a half later it was all over.
Although she had constantly denied the rumour going around that her marriage was over, she later opened up about the marriage, while also advising young girls not to fall for a man’s wealth and go into marriage. She said what it looks like outside, is not the same thing inside of the house, as it is most times hell!
The Rivers State born Dabota Lawson had some time ago, posted on Instagram that she regretted marrying the chairman/CEO, Novena Majesty Furniture Industries Limited, Prince Sunny Aku. The single mother confessed that the marriage was a mistake. She had said:
“I mostly regret ever getting married in 2014 ( please keep all that lessons and whatever you think I got from it talk ) I hate the fact that I did !PERIOD! The only thing I did right that keeps me going was making the decisions to go through with my pregnancy and have my child. My daughter is the only thing I’ve done right in the world over 25 years of my life. That’s how I feel.” she said.
On Friday, the beautician put up a post from her friend Tonto Dikeh, referring to her drama with her ex-husband Olakunle Churchill, she captioned the photo with:
“Don’t lie o.. I have someone I wished I dealt with like this back then .. ???? TGIF … @tontolet”
Although she did not make mention of her ex-husband, we feel she is clearly referring to her ex, in support of her friend, Tonto Dikeh
