Emmanuel Emenike shares some epic throwback photos dating back his childhood days with siblings and his parents. The now ex-Super Eagles of Nigeria player shared the photos on his Instagram page, showing a large family of ten, including his parents.

The first photo showed young and energic Emenike with some of his friends, showing off some wards of what looks like naira notes, with just him focusing on the shot from the camera.
Other photos shared by the former West Ham United player, shows little Emenike and his father and a family member with him posing for the cameras. The other photo which is more like a family portrait shows his siblings and their mother all sharing in the family photo.

Emmanuel Emenike shared the photo telling his story how growing up during the war was tough for him and his family members, as they all had to hustle together to survive. He said he helped farm with his parents, then selling sachet water popularly known as ‘Pure Water’ and working on construction site just to make a living then. He also made mention of him moving to South Africa to hustle and finally having a breakthrough, with football. He said:

“As a kid, I farmed with my parents and I was selling goat meat in the market, hocked pure water on the street of Port Harcourt, grow up during the war between Aguleri and Umuleri, use to carry cement to make money, went to South Africa became a street boy until God blessed me…” he said.
