One of the Braxton sisters, Towanda Braxton has filed for bankruptcy, after admitting that she only has a total of $150 left in her account, while also in a debt of $35,000 to one of her sisters.
Towanda Braxton who admitted to be struggling to survive, said she is owing her sister Tamar Braxton the sum of $35,000, and struggling to meet up with her bills.
Towanda Braxton going bankrupt is not coming as a surprise to many, especially her sisters and family, as they have one time or the other helped her out with her finances, yet she still cannot resolve the issue.
A Court document shows her listing of $277,650 in assets but $547,056.39 in liabilities. In all of these, her salary is just $4,692 and her monthly expenses total $6,020. She is clearly earning less than she is spending monthly.
Her assets include the new Georgia home she bought recently (worth about $275k), $1,500 in household goods, $1,000 in clothing and only $150 in her checking account with zero savings.
Towanda Braxton and her debts include $417,715 to a mortgage company, $76,000 to her former landlord, $982 to Comcast, over a thousand to collection attorneys, $8,480 to Covenant Christian Academy, $6,211.30 in medical bills, $35,000 to her sister Tamar (who gave her a personal loan) and various other debts.
She listed herself as self-employed at her T. Braxton Beauty Company.
Since her sister, Tamar Braxton has a financial expert and a multi-millionaire as her new boyfriend, it looking like she will need him at this time, and Tamar who have been so generous to her, and make things happen.!
