Nigeria media mogul, Mosunmola Abudu who is famously known as Mo Abudu has been honoured with a honourary Doctorate Degree by University of Westminster, recognizing her role and contribution to growth of general broadcasting and enterprise in Nigeria.
Mo Abudu who since switching career to the media, has been the brain behind most of the blockbuster movies in Nigeria, and one of such movies is the Wedding Party.
She has somehow revolutionized the Nollywood industry and as she keeps going into different collaborations with her other colleagues to see how they can improve on virtually everything about Nollywood, and make it modern.
This move and many other of her initiatives has revived the culture of cinema in Nigeria, as now every producer now produce good quality movies aiming at the cinemas…and crashing out big time!
This and many other first she has achieved in the broadcasting sector, and not to forget her Ebony Live TV on DSTV…it is no surprise that University of Westminster are honouring her with a Doctorate, which will be her second for excellence!
She put up the photo of her ceremony with this caption:
“I would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to the University of Westminster for awarding me with an honorary degree of Doctor of Arts, in recognition of my contributions to broadcasting and enterprise in Nigeria.
