Igodie has lashed out at Nigeria’s first lady Mrs. Aisha Buhari, saying the only time she cries out and complaining about injustice is only when such alleged injustice involves her family member(s) or close associates and not on Nigerians.
Igodie who like other Nigerians was reacting to the write up by Mrs. Aisha Buhari complaining and calling out the All Progressives Congress (APC) describing the political party as one which impunity has reigned under its current Leadership, and under National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomohle, advised the First Lady to extend her alleged wailing also to other issues and other Nigerians who are facing similar problem, and not just her brother, Mamuhd Halilu Ahmed. He said.
The comedian in his write up said:
“We all must not wait for injustice to befall those close to us before we cry to high heavens.
I applaud your commitment and thoughts towards some issues, you have earned social respect and dignity over the years. However, please don’t allow the sentiments of the family to affect your decisions.”

Your recent outcry on the Apc primaries will be unfair if we consider what has been happening to most Nigerians,irrespective of the ethnic and political affiliations,that has not been addressed. We all must not wait for injustice to befall those close to us, before we cry to high heavens,why now? When Osun State came up no comment, Benin Abuja road is killing people everyday, unemployment is confronting the youths’ no comment? Just because your younger brother Mahmud Halilu Ahmed lost the APC Governorship election primaries to Governor Muhammadu Bindow of Adamawa State.now Ribadu and your younger brother Mahmud Halilu Ahmed has Rejected the Apc primary result in adamawa. This outcry is unjust.
My question is that if your husband Mr president had favoured your brother your opinion would have been on the contrary.
We have our reservations but if the President had manipulated the process to your brother’s favour,he would have suffered more condemnation. One obvious truth is that most of us remain silent,because we can afford bottle water and fuel our generators .We must not wait, until it affects those directly close to us,before we share in the pains of victims.
They system is right and wrong at all times,it all depends on who it favours, this most stop.
Lets live for others so that our voices will be heard when it’s our turn to feel the burning issues that affects the common Nigerians.
