The wife of the Vice President of Nigeria, Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo just showed one more time how down-to-earth the family are, as she showed her skills in catering, baking her daughter’s wedding cake. Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo who is a lawyer took over the duty of a baker at her daughter’s wedding, with this astonishing cake that if you were not told, you will mistake it for a cake baked by a professional baker.
Most couple will not risk the idea of putting their mothers in charge of one of the most important, if not the most important ingredient in a wedding, which is the wedding cake to take care off, as they fear, their mothers could end up with a bad job or result. I mean, aside the bride’s wedding dress, the other thing most people want to see and talk about days later, is the wedding cake. This the bride put all her energy in to make sure it comes out good, and that was exactly what Mrs Osinbajo did.
Seeing Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo baked her daughter’s wedding cake, also shows the trust Damilola Osinbajo has in the magical hands of her mother, and she did not disappoint looking at the cake.
The Osinbajo who gave out their daughter’s hand in marriage just last week, did not only displayed class but did it in a way even an ordinary citizens would not, given their wealth and place in society. Imagine the wife of the Vice President baking her daughter’s wedding cake, when she could have employed the services of some of the best bakers in the country or outside the country.
The mother of the bride, Mrs Osinbajo who was pleased and appreciative for being in charge of the wedding cake, took to her Instagram page to share the different stages of the baking process and the final result, and I must say, she must be a professional caterer to have arrived at such a beautiful wedding cake.
