Atiku Abubakar seems to be throwing shade, in his latest social media message where he is asking Nigerians to vote for him because he ‘works and not because he walks.’ (well, this is the part we say: If you know, you know). lol

The former Vice President of Nigerian Chief Atiku Abubakar who a few weeks back defected from the ruling party of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and back to his former party the Peoples Democratic Party which is now the opposition, said if voted for as the President of Nigeria, he will work to create jobs as he has always done as a businessman.

While putting up a photo of him inside a gym house, with some of his aides, Atiku Abubakar said he regularly engage in some physical exercises such as jogging more than a mile and general exercise, but it will be pedestrian of him to ask Nigerians to vote for him because of that. He stated that Nigerians should vote for him because of what he has done and still doing in the area of job creation.
Taking to his social media page, Atiku Abubakar said:

“I regularly jog more than a mile & exercise, but it will be pedestrian of me to ask Nigerians to vote for me because of that. I want my party – the PDP, and Nigerians, to vote for me because I WORK not because I WALK. I will work to create jobs. I won’t walk to create an illusion.”

The race to the 2019 Presidential election is hotting up and candidates vying for the Nigerian Political office top job, keep increasing on a daily basis, and some of the Political heavyweights are in the PDP which is the Party Atiku Abubakar is hoping to clinch the party’s ticket as their flag bearer in the 2019 Presidential elections. But the question is, will Atiku Abubakar decamp if eventually he does not get the Presidential tickets under the PDP.

Many political watchers are predicting him to jump ship again if that happens, even though the Turaki Adamawa himself has said the PDP is his last Bus stop.

In the last week, Atiku Abubakar has been to some States in the South-South, South-East and Northern region to make his intention known and also lobbying party faithful for their votes and support to finally realized his long dream of becoming Nigeria’s President.
