Reno Omokri has applauded the sacking of Mr. Lawal Daura as Director General of the Department of Security Services (DSS) by Vice President Osinbajo, saying the decision was guided by Godly wisdom.
Reno Omokri who is of the Peoples Democratic Party and a man who has once or probably more than once criticised Vice President Osinbajo for some of his decisions and inaction, seem to have agreed with him on this one, and has praised him for it.
While praising acting President Osinbajo for the sacking of Daura, he was quick to remind Nigerians on the issue of Usman Yusuf the Head of National Health Insurance Scheme, who was suspended for corruption by Osinbajo when President Buhari traveled to London only to be reinstated by Buhari when he returned to Nigeria, saying the sacking of Daura is not yet uhuru.
Taking to his social media page, he said:
“Vice President Osinbajo used Godly wisdom to sack Daura. According to my sources, Osinbajo, first of all, summoned the DG DSS to his office at exactly 1:15 PM. While he was still talking to Lawal Daura, Laolu Akande was directed to release a statement announcing his sack in true mafiosi style!
However, it is not yet Uhuru. Nigerians recall that the NHIS boss, Usman Yusuf, was suspended for corruption by Osinbajo when President Buhari traveled to London only to be reinstated by Buhari when he returned to Nigeria. This must not be the case with the sacked DSS DH. He must go, never to return again!”
