Unidentified Policemen have been accused of robbing a National Youth Service Corps accident victim identified as Tony Zitta in Abuja.
Tony Zitta who later died from injuries sustained from the accident, according to his friends was allegedly robbed by Policemen shortly after a BMW with place number 325 CI rammed into his Toyota Camry car from behind at Wuse II Abuja.
They alleged that the policemen who rushed to the scene rather than help Tony who remained unconscious after the accident, helped the occupants of the BMW to escape, taking possession of the victim’s money and car while leaving him at the scene to die.
The twitter handle @thecapitalmvmt which they said he helped to create and was also a promoter, narrated the whole story, saying:

Meanwhile an unidentified female Samaritan rushed Tony to Garki hospital where they said they could not handle his situation, as they believed he had a brain injury and supposedly took a CT scan then referred him to Wuse General Hospital where they were told there was no space.
He was referred to Gwagwalada teaching hospital an hour away. They claimed they drained his head of blood & he was stabilizing. The family & friends brought several doctors & neurosurgeons to see him but the hospital didnt allow claimin he was ok. Then on Monday morning he passed
There are so many conversations that should be had concerning the death of Tony Zitta and we all need to make sure his death wasn’t in vain. Because at the end of the day it was not only the accident that killed him but the System #RIPTonyZitta
It is most unfortunate that there was no member of the Team aware of the accident that night. It’s been a hard time for us all. Tony was the heart and soul of the movement & the thought of going on without him is unbearable. Tony will forever live on with each and everyone of us.
