The Chairman of Warri South Local Government Dr. Michael Tidi yesterday, played host to the embattled President of Nigeria Football Federation and 1st Vice President of CAF Mr. Amaju Pinnick in Warri.
Amaju Pinnick who has been facing a leadership tussle at the NFF Glass House Abuja since becoming the President of Nigerian Football administration, was in Warri to see the ongoing work at the Brown-Hill Events Centre Warri, which is targeted at creating employment for the teeming youths in the Local Government.

The NFF President who also is from Warri, praised the chairman’s economic policies at reviving the economic activity in the cosmopolitan city of Warri, and developmental projects that will benefit all.
According to the media aide to the Chairman, the NFF President during the visit expressed confidence in his administration &
assured the executive chairman of his support, urging him not to relent in his focus on making Warri boom again.
Mr. Amaju Pinnick also informed the chairman that the project, Brown-Hill Events Centre, which would be a source of employment for the teaming youths is almost completed & would be a means to revamp the economic nerve of the cosmopolitan city of Warri.
It would be recalled that the duo met some months ago during the ” Foundation Laying ” of the project, where Mr. Pinnick urged investors to make use of the vast economic potentials of Warri & also called for the return of the IOCs.
Mr. Pinnick will always associate with greatness and encourage others that nothing is impossible.
Dr. Tidi Michael is one of the products of the ‘NotTooYoungToRun’ bill and also the only Local Government chairman in Delta State with a PhD.
He was also the first Chairman in the state to organize an economic summit within 100-days of swearing-in, to change the face of Warri, and bring back investors to the city.
