France beat Belgium 1-0 to reach the world cup finals, which is their third in 20-years, after winning it in 1998 and reaching the finals in 2006. It was a goal from Barcelona’s defender Umitti in the 51-minutes that gave the French team the win over their neighbours Belgium.
The game was the first semi-final game of the Russia 2018 World cup, as tomorrow England will face Croatia in the second semi-finals as France awaits their opponent in the finals.
