According to reports, popular American rapper Abraham Joseph who is famously known as 21 Savage has been arrested by the United States of America Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), claiming he entered the country illegally.

The report claimed that 21 Savage whose real name sounds Nigerian, even though his mother is Dominican (he even worships Ifa) was said to be originally is from United Kingdom, and came into the US as a teenager in 2005,overstayed up until today when ICE arrested him in Atlanta.

According to ICE spokesman Bryan Cox, the rapper 21Savage who many before now believed to be an American is facing a possible deportation back to the United Kingdom where he came into the United States in 2005.

ICE spokesman Bryan Cox: “U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested unlawfully present United Kingdom national Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph AKA ‘21 Savage’ during a targeted operation with federal and local law enforcement partners

“U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested unlawfully present United Kingdom national Sha Yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph AKA ’21 Savage’ during a targeted operation with federal and local law enforcement partners early Sunday in metro Atlanta,” Cox said of the arrest.

“Mr. Abraham-Joseph was taken into ICE custody as he is unlawfully present in the U.S. and also a convicted felon.” He was convicted of drug charges in 2014

21’s attorney Dina LaPolt told TMZ, “We are working diligently to get Mr. Abraham-Joseph out of detention while we work with authorities to clear up any misunderstanding. Mr. Abraham-Joseph is a role model to the young people in the country–especially in Atlanta, Georgia and is actively working in the community leading programs to help underprivileged youths in financial literacy.”

The ICE said the rapper did not enter the US illegally, but over stayed his Visa since 2005.

The agenda claim that the now 26-year old 21Savage entered the U.S. legally all the way back in July 2005, but he never left the country after his non-immigrant visa expired. “Mr. Abraham-Joseph is presently in ICE custody in Georgia and has been placed into removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts,” they added

“ICE will now await the outcome of his case before a federal immigration judge to determine future actions.”
