Croatia just revived the hope of Nigeria, as they trash Messi and Argentina by 0-3 to seal all three points to book their place in the last 16 of the second round leaving Messi and Argentina’s world cup dream hanging in balance.
The win means Croatia now has six points from two games, and have scored five goals (one being an own goal) with Argentina still with just one point from their draw against Iceland.
Nigeria is the only team without a point and will be playing Iceland tomorrow and a win will see them go second in the group, with a final group game against Argentina.
if all goes as planned, pray for I should say, then Nigeria should qualify alongside Croatia. But Iceland has all the advantages here, beat Nigeria, and get a draw against Croatia or a win and they through to the second round.
