The Nigerian Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin has praised the ingenuity of the Nigerian youth, as he received a personal paint from one Alfa Faruk Umar at his office in Abuja.
The General who was amazed at the talent on display from the artwork he was presented with, praised the young man for his kind gesture, a man whom he sees as a perfect example of the number of talents the embedded in the country.
He put up the photos on his social media page, with this lovely caption:
This talented young man, Alfa Faruk Umar (Alfaruk gallery) presented a painting of me he made today and I must say I was delighted. Hardworking young men like him always renew my hope in the future of our great country. Thank you very much Alfa Faruk and keep up the good work.
The General was appointed to the position of Chief of Defence Staff in 2015 taking over from ACM Alex Badeh, and he is a product of the Nigerian Defence Academy and Obafemi Awolowo University and hails from Ekiti State Nigeria. See more photos:
