The Lagos State Government has once again recorded another achievement as one Miss Zuffon Bukola from Awodio-Ora Secondary School in Ajegunle becomes the One-Day Governor of the State.

This is clearly a laudable achievement from the Government of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, as his quest to improve public education in the state through a strategic review of education policy in the State and promote hard work among Lagos State residence especially the youth in the state, is fast yielding positive results.

The case of Bukola winning the 17th One-day Governor of the State is an example of that success.

The One-day Governor that was initiated by the then Governor of Lagos State, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is now the National leader and Chieftain of the ruling Political Party, the All Progressives Congress, have seen students from Senior and Junior Secondary Schools in the State, having that rare opportunity to govern for one day. An opportunity that has been opened to all students irrespective of tribe or state of origin.

The one good thing about this whole One-day Governor of a thing is that even students from poor background have shown since the outset of the programme, that they too are as intelligent as those from rich homes and private schools in the State, and Miss Zuffun Bukola has shown that.
